My First Homemade Sushi

All the while I'm enjoying sushi made by others, but this time around I'm making my own sushi Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

*Cough!* This is the very first time I try to cook and make some food other than just instant noddle and to be exact it is the 2nd time I cook rice in my life Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting . I have asked around on how to make sushi, ingredients recommendation, where to buy, which brand, search the net for recipe, video tutorial, skills explanation, bla bla bla and finally I shop at Tesco and Jusco for this:

    • Sumo Japanese Calrose Rice - RM5.50
    • Makisu (Bamboo Sushi Mat) - RM2.50
    • Roasted Seaweed - RM7.90
    • Diamond PE Cling Wrap - RM6.90 (if I remember correctly Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting )
    • Daisho Sushi Set - RM30.90
        • Makisu (Bamboo Sushi Mat)
        • Yamasa Sashimi Soy Sauce
        • Sushi Vinegar
        • Wasabi
        • Roasted Seaweed
These are the ingredients I bought particulary for the rice part. Actually the Daisho Sushi Set will be enough but because of shopping separately, I couldn't find the sushi vinegar and japanese soy sauce at Tesco. So, in the end bought the sushi set at Jusco (that's why I have 2x Makisu and 2x Roasted Seaweed Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting )
